2020 was an exceedingly challenging year, but the New Year is upon us. Now is good time to look back on the previous 365 days and consider the advancements in ophthalmology 2020. Despite COVID-19, advancements in the field of medicine, technology, and science continued to occur. Interestingly, research on the coronavirus led to a better understanding of preventing irreversible vision loss.
