Foundation for Blind Children Prison Braille Program
BrailleBraille allows people living with vision loss and blindness to gain knowledge through reading. What many people who rely on Braille do not know is that prisoners in Arizona make many of the books available. The Foundation for Blind Children’s Prison Braille Program involves inmates who transcribe books into Braille.

The program certifies prisoners to transcribe Braille in order to create textbooks, tests, and quizzes for blind students in Arizona for free.

SDCB can assist you or a loved one with vision loss or blindness; please contact us to learn more.
