60 Minutes Profiles An Amazing Blind Architect

60 Minutes - A Different Kind Of VisionSee the inspirational story of an architect, husband, and father who went blind as a result of surgery to remove a brain tumor.  He turned the lemon into lemonade, and now is a nationally-renowned architect who uses his blindness as an asset to help him design blind-friendly buildings for nonprofits, government agencies, and companies.

He created techniques to read other's architectural drawings (similar to Braille), modify them (using children's wax sticks), and guide blind people throughout his structures (groves and different textures to the concrete floors).  In fact, if he were to somehow have the opportunity to regain his sight, he would decline!
