Bionic Eye Helps Blind People See

A bioelectronics company has received the HealthTech Award 2020 for its bionic vision Prima System. Pixium Vision SA’s bionic eye helps blind people see. The Prima System could help blind people lead more independent lives. It elicits functional artificial vision in the form of light perception replacing partially the natural central vision loss.
