Blind Guide Dog Leads the BlindAll guide dogs loyally serve their owners by helping them get around and avoid obstacles. However, one guide dog continued to serve his owner log after he could see clearly. In the 1970s, seven-year-old golden Labrador Abel gradually went blind but never let his blind owner know as Abel continued to lead the way across the city.
When the discovery was made and the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association issued a new guide dog to Ken Williams, he fought to keep Abel. From then on, the new guide dog Gay would lead both Ken and Abel around the city.
